Anaerobic Digestion & Biogas Plants

Biogas is a renewable source of energy and heat and is produced by anaerobic digestion using various materials of agricultural origin, livestock waste, food wastes or from the organic fraction of municipal solid wastes.

The residue from anaerobic digestion (DIGESTATE) is a perfectly stabilized, odourless organic fertilizer containing all nutrients necessary for plant growth or it can be dried and used as an RDF (refuse derived fuel).

Grenex have formed an alliance with a leading European Biogas company and is able to provide a complete solution:

  • Design of the digester or gasification plant;
  • Supply of complete biogas Renewable Energy Plant - turning waste into energy;
  • Supply of all equipment to turn digested biomass into fertiliser;

Solid Waste Management & Composting

Grenex and our key staff have many years of experience in solid waste management and composting. This experience has been in Australia and Vietnam. A number of projects have been successfully undertaken and implemented

Vietnam Projects:

  • Haiphong Solid Waste & Composting Feasibility Study
  • Ninh Binh Solid Waste Management & Compost Treatment Plant, including secure landfill design and leachate treatment system. This plant has a design capacity of 200 t/day municipal solid waste and was completed in 2014.
